Due to the tremendous growth of Calbrook Cosmetics UK Ltd, Izabelle was delighted to have the expertise of her husband, full time, when he joined the business. Thomas qualified in South Africa as a Chartered Accountant in 1988, his background being corporate finance; specialising in helping small & medium sized enterprises, franchising and business mergers and acquisitions. Thomas has been responsible for all the financial aspects of the business as well as overseeing IT requirements and instigating the implementation of up-to-the-minute systems and procedures to aid customer satisfaction.      ______________________________

Izabelle Hammon, Shareholder and CEO

As a nail technician herself, Izabelle started Calbrook Cosmetics in July 1999 to support and serve the professional UK nail market with the same top quality gel formulations she had worked with in South Africa. Before becoming a nail technician, Izabelle lived and worked in South Africa and had a successful sales career utilising skills that were no doubt inherited from her entrepreneurial parents. That entrepreneurial spirit encouraged Izabelle to satisfy her yearning to offer the best gel products in the UK by setting up her own company and launching CALGEL into the UK market.

Tim Cowell, Financial Controller

Tim Cowell is the Financial Controller and has taken over the Accounting Function from Thomas Hammon, freeing him to concentrate on expanding the business. Tim has a wealth of Accounting and IT skills, which will aid the Company greatly as it continues its rapid programme of expansion.  Tim has a background of working in both service and manufacturing environments and thus brings valuable skills that will assist the Company and our customers.

Yvette Christy, Marketing Manager & Office Manager

Yvette came from a marketing background from various other business sectors; she has enjoyed working in the beauty industry as she can relate to it.

Since working at Calbrook she has managed many projects including the corporate newsletter for clients, website updates, trade PR, designing all sales and marketing literature, managing and attending corporate road shows and trade exhibitions.

  Robyn McCarney, Training Manager & Educator

Robyn, from America (the heart of the nail industry), joined the company as she saw how the company has grown over the years and wanted to be part of the team as the Training Coordinator. She coordinates all training aspects both for clients and educators and works closely with Andrew in the sales department.

Tara Bellamy, Sales & Development Coordinator

 

Tara is a trained beauty therapist and very much enjoys the beauty industry. Although not directly involved in the beauty for sometime, for the past four years Tara has worked in a customer service role striving to meet customer needs and customer satisfaction.

Tara has joined the ever increasing Calbrook team in order to spearhead the new drive in Customer Care and Sales. Tara is a leading team member and hopes to employ her vast experience of customer care to help develop Calbrook's expanding nail and beauty business.

Ryan Christie, Warehouse Supervisor

Ryan joins Calbrook from South Africa, he has been in the UK for 6 years working in various different industries.

Ryan is over seeing the running of the warehouse to ensure the warehouse runs efficiency and smoothly for customers. He hopes to increase productivity whist ensuring good customer service is maintained and improved.

Helen Bruce, Despatch Coordinator

Helen deals with the day to day running of the warehouse such as picking, packing orders and dealing with customers. Helen has learnt a lot about the nail industry and has made many friends, both staff and customers.      _____________________________

Merete Egerup , Receptionist

Merete from Denmark joined the company with great expectations to learn more about the beauty industry and to grow and learn in this artistic environment.

She enjoys working with people and would like to grow in the area of customer service as well as been creative.
